1. ISRS EDUCATIONAL COURSE

"SRS/SRT in Management of Intracranial Tumors, Head&Neck,
Lung, and Abdominal Cancers, Medical Physics for Radiosurgery.”

Organized in Collaboration with WFNS Radiosurgery Committee

Dear Colleagues, Friends,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to take part in the Educational Course of the International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society (ISRS; www.ISRSy.org) scheduled in Tbilisi, Georgia, on October 4-6, 2019.

ISRS was established in 1991 and at present it is the only one worldwide international professional Society, which incorporates neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, medical physicists and other specialists working in the field of stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT). Its achievements have been highlighted widely during recent 14th biannual Congress held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on June 9-13, 2019. Beyond variety of other activities, starting from December 2016 ISRS has initiated regular organization of its Educational Courses, and by this time 15 such events were successfully held in Brazil, China, Egypt, Hungary, Finland, Italy, Latvia, Russia, Switzerland, and UK. We are very happy, that thanks to fruitful collaboration between ISRS and F. Todua Medical Center, Research Institute of Clinical Medicine, it has become possible to organize for the first time ISRS Educational Course in Transcaucasian region.

Within 3 days we are planning to discuss clinically relevant issues on SRS/SRT of various intracranial tumors, head&neck, lung, and abdominal cancers, and medical physics for radiosurgery. Our Faculty will include high-level professionals from different countries, who are eager to share their knowledge and experience with the Course participants. As tradition, the program presumes specially allocated time for discussions on any arising question. The topics of lectures may be interesting not only for colleagues who are practicing SRS/SRT on regular basis, but also for those who at present do not have sufficient experience with this treatment option. Therefore, you are truly welcome to join us!
